Disappointment to say the least. I’ve always enjoyed my visits to John Henry’s as they’ve always had some great food, atmosphere and service. But for us tonight, with a party of 12, the food was subpar. I’ve eaten at the salad bar several times for lunch, always fresh and attended too. But as for a night service, I guess I would have been better off with an entree. As the salad and associated condiments looked like they were left over from lunch. John Henry’s is a solid spot, especially with its convenient downtown location. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was good overall, and the salad bar had a surprisingly wide selection. The menu offers plenty of variety. I ordered the duck with cherry glaze, which was cooked just right. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor, and the zucchini fries and fried green tomatoes made great appetizers.

This is a great place to enjoy a meal! The salad bar and bean and greens are reason enough to go! The service is always excellent! The food was delicious and was served quickly! The atmosphere was nice and the music was just the right level. It was enjoyable but you could still hear the person across the table from you! The corn risotto is one of my favorite menu items!

Such a great place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The flat iron steak had some of the best seasoning on a steak I've ever seen! My wife said her hamburger steak is the best she's ever had.
