We went to Brazilian Express for our anniversary and had a really nice experience overall. The buffet had a great variety of options, and we loved the traditional setup; using the table card to signal when servers should bring around different cuts of meat. The meat selection was solid, though a few cuts were a bit on the dry side. Drinks were also a highlight; the Old Fashioned was well made, and the wine we ordered paired nicely with the meal. We were a little confused by the wine bottles already sitting on the tables, as it wasn’t clear how those worked. Dessert was also a bit confusing.

Brazilian Grill Express in Schaumburg is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Brazilian food. The meats are always fresh, juicy, and full of flavor—especially the picanha and grilled chicken. Everything is perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Portions are generous and the sides like rice, beans, and farofa are delicious and always fresh. Matei minhas saudades da comida do Brasil. This was one of the best Brazilian Churrasco restaurants I've been to near Chicago, and I've been to almost all of them, haha. The ambience of the place was very romantic with low lighting and fancy table ware set up. I loved the TVs that featured cities and nature of Brazil as well as the Brazilian music playing in the background. I felt like I was home. The dishes served here were much closer to real Brazilian food, this enhanced my experience here tenfold. Best Brazilian steakhouse I’ve tried. The meat quality beats Texas de Brazil and Fogo, and the service is amazing. It’s smaller and more intimate, which I enjoyed. The downside is the salad bar is pretty limited compared to the other places. But the meat is so good it’s worth the trade-off. They had live music when we went too. Will definitely be back.
