Christy★★★★★Kaldi’s Social House is one of those spots that just gets it right, great energy, standout food, and genuinely warm service. Chef David’s menu is the star. The beef empanada is incredible, perfectly crisp on the outside with rich, flavorful filling. The brisket egg rolls are next level, savory, tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. And the popcorn chicken is an absolute must have, crispy and addictive. What really elevates the experience is the hospitality. Alma is lovely, welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Perfect for a relaxed night out or a casual meet up with friends. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.
Summer Hall★★★★★I didn't see anyone review dinner here, so I will! This place was AMAZING. I was highly impressed by how juicy the half chicken was. My pasta was beautiful and so filling. I was absolutely stuffed and I still wanted to keep eating. The short rib croquettes were also a hit. I have to come back here asap.
Gabrielle Richardson★★★★Kaldi’s Social House is a pleasant cafe by day and trendy cocktail bar by night. We came here for brunch and the food did not disappoint. Service was relatively quick, but it did feel a little impersonal because we ordered through a QR code and had no engagement with the staff. While I enjoyed the ambiance, I would’ve loved it a lot more if the tv sitting directly behind me didn’t have the volume on while music played throughout the incredibly crowded restaurant. Once the crowd died down, someone turned the tv up, making it almost impossible to hear my friend speak. Even after flagging it to the staff, it took quite awhile before the volume finally got turned down and then eventually muted. Overall, I enjoyed the food and I would love to come again during a less chaotic time where I can sit far away from the TV.
Rachel Feid★★★★★I miss living around the corner!! I’m picky about my espresso but genuinely this place has the best in Arlington. I’ve tried about everywhere. Their plain (hot) latte and their cold brew is my favorite! The truffle fries are delicious as well, and a large serving. The staff are always wonderful. I recommend coming on a weekday because the weekends are BUSY. I live in NYC now and am still trying to find a latte as good as theirs.
Christina Takla★★★★★I’ve been here for coffee/tea many times and had a great experience. Last night (05/29/26) to put the cherry on top, I hosted a cocktail party here and it could not have gone better. Communication was great with Sean to plan the party and the service staff (Lila, Eric, and Kevin) during the party. The kitchen staff were all great as well. We had about 50 attendees and they cleared the inside of customers an hour before the party and allowed me to decorate how I chose and go over food timings, the music, and drinks with the staff. Our guests were so pleased! The food, drinks, and ambiance were all exceptional and the staff was beyond accommodating. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to do the same. Thank you all for your hard work and flexibility with our group! (Worth a mention that they put this together in about a week or two after our first venue fell through).
beyondTabu★★The coffee was good, but unfortunately the marble cake let the experience down. Despite being warmed, it was hard and unpleasantly crunchy in texture — a real shame, as it looked genuinely appealing. The staff seemed slightly annoyed to be there which didn’t improve the experience. Hopefully an off day, but doubtful we’ll return to find out.
Ben Jones★★★I come here pretty frequently to study, and I agree with the reviews saying that the space itself is great, and the food and drinks are perfectly fine, but sometimes it feels like Kaldi's can't quite decide whether or not they actually want people using their place as a workspace. What do I mean by this? The big thing is that they seem to have a number of rules around where people using computers are allowed to sit and when. Those rules aren't spelled out anywhere, so instead of coming in and understanding that you can sit in X location but not Y location, you come in, sit down, and then a member of staff is telling you to move. I recently sat down somewhere where I thought I was allowed to work, and a staff member asked me to move, because they want to save a particular cluster of tables for larger groups. No issue there, but when I expressed genuine confusion because I had sat there on previous visits without issue, I got kind of a brusque, low-key rude response (I've noticed the sa
Quincy★★★★★Was searching for a late date night...on a cold and rainy Saturday... immediately when I stepped in In knew this spot was the one and the right choice. The lighting was perfect and the layout was fabulous. I don't like tables...I like lounge chairs and booth. It was crowded at all which was surprising but judging by the photos I guess It can be packed but coming from ATL this place would be packed and no seating on a Saturday night with a DJ! Lol But it was the perfect atmosphere for a date. The music was good, not too loud to where you can't have a convo. Would be nice if some of these places in Arlington could spin some 90s R&B or 2000's neo-soul but the music definitely reflecting the setting. I noticed it also the perfect spot to hang out with co-workers, or friends/family. I saw some college students bring a board game in there and they had some drinks and food. Also, I noticed there is a dedicated area where you can plug up your laptop because I saw a few gentleman chilling on th
