Celebrated my wife’s birthday at 1920 Tavern last night and it was outstanding from start to finish. For apps, we had the blistered shishito peppers and the fried green tomatoes. I’ll be honest, I’ve never liked fried green tomatoes, but these completely changed my mind. The herb goat cheese and roasted red pepper coulis took them to another level. For entrées, we went with Mark’s Shrimp and Chicken Cajun Alfredo and the Parmesan Crusted Grouper. Both were absolutely delicious. First time visiting and my experience was excellent. Customer service was top notch and the restaurant was very clean. My server, Desiree, was very help, attentive, polite and professional. The food was very, very good. It was fresh, flavorful and was of high quality. The portions were just right. I had a light lunch but would like to return to try the many options available. Came here for father’s day brunch and had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic, I had the chicken and waffles which I would highly recommend. Our server, Taylor, was absolutely incredible! She was the sweetest young lady ever and made sure we had the best experience for father’s day. She had wonderful recommendations and was able to answer all of our questions. We will absolutely be back and will definitely be asking for Taylor as our server again.
