Let me first say… if we could leave more stars I would. From the experience, the atmosphere and the staff, this was an awesome Date night!!! BRITNEY AND SARAH WERE Grrreat!!!! The wife and I love a good smoked old fashioned and when I tell you they did an excellent job….. They did an excellent job. Did I say they did an excellent job?? Ok 😂 yeah….. excellent!!!! We will most definitely be back!!! We have been trying to book for tonight so that we can come back for the second night in a row! It had been a while since my husband and I had patronized the Speakeasy as we normally just stop in upstairs for drinks. We stopped in last Friday for end of the weeks drinks and ended up ordering dinner. He ordered the Lobster bisque, which is usually my go to starter at any restaurant and upon arrival I regretted not getting it. It was tick and creamy with a decent size chunk of lobster. I order the Shrimp & Pad Thai and he had Surf and Turf. I loved the acidity of the noodles innthe Pad Thai. I only wish it had a little more sauce as the noodles tend to soak it up. I attended a wine tasting event with a group here, and it was a lovely networking experience that I'd highly recommend. We were all seated in their private room upstairs and were each served small pours of 4 different wines along with appetizers in a span of 2 hours. I really loved the first wine the best - an orange wine from France - Cancan Brute Nature Orange. What's great about these events is that you can order bottles of the wine featured at great prices - my favorite was only $15.
