We felt that the servers treated us differently when we arrived, possibly because we did not fly in on a plane. Customers who arrived after flying their planes appeared to receive better and more attentive service than we did. Our table was not wiped when we sat down, and the staff seemed careless when delivering our food, even spilling a coffee and making no effort to replace it. It was disappointing to feel judged based on status or assumptions. We were regular customers, fully willing to pay like any other guests, regardless of whether we arrived by plane or not. I went to Flabob Airport Cafe for the first time the other day with a friend and my dog after hiking up Mount Rubidoux. As soon as we entered we were greeted by our waitress Brenya who was kind and smiling the whole time. She welcomed in my dog and got him some water while we ordered. We were seated immediately and the food came out very quick. The food was hot and everything tasted delicious just like at The RAC! Mess hall turn Cafe so it's a cozy size. They were able to seat us, a party of 7 comfortably. Service was great. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. They automatically add gratuity to parties over 5, which I personally appreciate VERY much. History of the place is decorated throughout the cafe. A hidden gem for the aviator and foodie. Park across the street is perfect to work off the meal.
