Solid coffee, excellent scones, and a perfect coffee shop atmosphere, for my taste. The staff are efficient but friendly; they've always been busy keeping the Saturday morning line moving at a good clip. The downstairs area is dim, but in a cozy way, while the upstairs is bright and airy thanks to the great windows and high ceilings. The prices are reasonable, especially for my go-to order of a scone (served with jam, lemon curd, and/or clotted cream on request!) and 6 oz cappuccino (sub-$10 with tax). I was visiting St. Paul and stopped here on my way back home, and I was really impressed with my visit! I got a St. Paddy late hot, and iced orange chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food and drinks are so tasty and creative. Chai has a full spectrum of spices and the orange is a good pairing. Everyone was friendly. I’d definitely return!
