I gotta say, I expected better barbecue based on the reviews. We stopped here on our way home from San Francisco, the restaurant looks like a house on a corner with some picnic tables on the front yard which was nice. The customer service could be better in my opinion, when I asked questions regarding their menu, the gentleman taking the order seems to be not interested in my questions, but still answered them. Now the food, I'm reviewing it and comparing it to other barbecue places I've visited with the same items on the menu and my personal experience making and smoking bbq. I ordered their

This BBQ place in Salinas is so goooood!!! I was visiting the area and saw the spot and wanted to try it out. I didn’t think I would love it this much especially the brisket. I would recommend getting the combo with meats and it comes with corn bread and 2 sides.

They catered our wedding yesterday (4th of July) and I can’t rave enough about them. Their food was to die for, the service was fantastic, and communication prior was absolutely such a breeze. We ordered tri tip, chicken, beans, potato salad, and garlic bread. Truly everything was insanely good. Zero complaints. Will be recommending them over and over!!
