Today was our first time at the Smoke Pit. I would say the portions are very large. The flavor is good for the type of barbeque it is. It's not traditional Lexington style barbeque but it is well done for the Texas style they state it is. My only complaint is that there was a large piece of grissle and a good size chunk of fat on my sandwich, which I was eating with a fork. I would have been surprised to bite into that as it would not be appealing. The waitress was very quick and polite. I would recommend to try it.

Went here for the first time with my boyfriend and it quickly became our favorite barbecue place! Our server Jasmine was great, she was really helpful and really nice to interact with during our visit. We had the brisket super spud, I got mine with burnt ends and it was amazing! I also got the brisket Mac and cheese and the barbecue pit beans which were also really good. The food and service was incredible it was slammed and we still had quick service and great food!

Driving through to VA and wanted somewhere to eat for lunch. Found this place on Google Maps and we were not disappointed! The place is definitely busy but they have a lot of seating and appeared well staffed. We both opted for the Tres Amigos plate and couldn’t eat all of it, yay for leftovers!
