Nice and affordable Mexican restaurant tucked away in downtown SA. Very friendly employees and welcoming atmosphere. It looks like the place just got a face-lift ! Freshly painted walls and clean look. My enchiladas were nice and cheesy, and the bean and rice tastier than most places. Definitely worth a visit if you're hungry and looking for some budget friendly comfort food. Stop by!

My husband is in construction and working at a job site downtown. He found this place since it was walking distance from the site and told me it was delicious. I stopped by on my way to work this morning and I found a new taco spot! Food was absolutely delicious and the employees were so nice and welcoming. It’s hard to find any taco spots with both good food and customer service! The chorizo and egg was not greasy and really flavorful. I only eat corn tortilla because I’m diabetic and they are really good homemade tortillas. I will definitely be returning!

Classic hole in the wall type place, but don't let the look deceive you. The food here is excellent, and their menudo is the best restaurant menudo I have ever had. The owner stated that due to rising costs on honeycomb tripe, she had to substitute some of the honeycomb tripe for regular beef to avoid raising the price of the dish. This has resulted in the menudo being a bit meatier than normal, but this by no means ruins the taste. It is still an excellent dish, and if I ever find myself in San Antonio again, I will be stopping here. Came here last week and only now have the time to leave a r
