I’m friends with the owner’s brother who recommended I go during my first trip to San Diego. The food did not disappoint! It was well made and flavorful. For apps we ordered the mussels, lamb chops, and bruschetta. All of it was a 10/10. My entree was pepperoni pizza. It was fresh and had that great wood fire oven taste. I’ll be back to try more of the menu! I ordered their custom old fashioned and it tasted so savory and well crafted

First time visiting this part of San Diego and finding a spot to dine in on holiday was difficult with out having a reservation. Was hesitant at first with the wait time only being first come first serve, but after walking around and coming back was felt welcomed back to the restaurant and had to wait a short while before seating. We were seated outside by the heater with the view of the street/ front of the restaurant. Which had set up the vibe of the night for my spouse and I plus our good friend. A wonderful dinner at the bar. We had wine, Ceasar salad and the chicken parm dish. They were hearty portions and all so delicious. The bar was lined with handsome bartenders and the overall vibes were so nice! Would definitely return to try more menu items in our next visit! ❤️

Had a great experience at Barbusa in San Diego. The place had a really cool vibe, the food was great, and the service was also very good. We ordered the Caesar salad, the prosciutto truffle pizza, and the pepperoni pizza. The salad was decent, the prosciutto truffle pizza was really good, and the pepperoni pizza was loaded with pepperoni and cheese definitely a standout. We went as a family of 4 and the 2 pizzas plus the salad completely filled us up. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely come back next time we’re in San Diego and would recommend
