Ok it won’t look like much from the outside on ECR and from the rear you park in the alleyway lot and walk past the restrooms and the kitchen but… this place is the bomb. And the chefs are top notch. I feel bad not having good photos except for one dish which came on mini wok with a burner and a dipping sauce. That’s a special lamb dish with vegetables mushrooms and goji berries. They made some unique and delicious food. The staff knows the menu very well and can recommend and they have chef specials on the back of the menu. One set for Chinese and one set for American palette. Both are good

After having an amazing whole fried fish at another Chinese restaurant, I have been looking for the same dish at a nearby restaurant. This one met my expectations. Our mapo tofu and curry mixed veggies were good too. The only item that needed improvement was the white rice which was lumpy and too soft.

Every time we get together with families in San Mateo, we tried different kind of food. This time we visit Silver House, the restaurant that my mom used to like very much. It's on the main street, so if you're lucky you find a parking spot in front of the restaurant, if not there're a few spots in the back alley or you have to park on the street some how. The restaurant is clean and simple, it was a Sunday night so there're quite a few people eating. The chef name Wang came and help us because my sister has been coming here quite often. We ordered quite a few dishes, most of them are Cantones

Been coming here for over 20 years. No soup today and they no longer have the dessert but we always enjoy the food. We love all the salt and pepper items, chicken wings, tofu, and fish. All of these are super good and had to get multiple orders of each for 11 people. Steamed tofu we had to order by showing a picture, we get 2 orders of this too. Was here on a weeknight so it wasn’t too busy and we were able to sit and talk for awhile.
