One Bite Dumpling is a great spot in Valencia for Cantonese and Hong Kong-style food. I especially enjoyed pairing the fried rice with mapo tofu. The dish had a pleasant mala (spicy numbing) aroma without being overpowering, making it flavorful and easy to enjoy even for those who don’t usually eat very spicy food. They also offer a wide variety of dim sum, which makes the meal fun since you can try different dishes. Drove 6 hours into town. Looked for restaurants for dinner and decided to try this dumpling place. We ordered for pickup and added rice to go along with a "2 person" dish. When I arrived, I asked if chopsticks and utensils included. Young man said, "yes, should be." I don't want to unwrap and take out every item to inspect when I got a hungry family waiting at the hotel. They didn't include the side of rice and only provided 1 chopstick. To top it off, my son ate the lotus wrap sticky rice and uncovered a hair. Obviously not going back since we're just visiting and definitely not recommended.

Exceptional Chinese food, puts my beloved Panda Express to shame. While portions are a little bit smaller than other places, the taste is like Ratatouille… almost transformational; perhaps the best Chinese cuisine restaurant in the SCV. Great atmosphere and an amazing staff. The food was fantastic — authentic, flavorful, and you can genuinely tell there’s real care and effort put into every dish. I ate way more than I probably should have and still didn’t feel heavy or terrible afterward. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and clean. Definitely the kind of place worth supporting over the bigger chain restaurants.
