The food, the service, the atmosphere. Everything was great. We walked in shortly after opening. There was no wait (but I've heard the lines can get long, later in the day). I got some BBQ chicken, Pork BBQ ribs, a loaded baked potato and a plate of onion rings. The potato was cooked through perfectly and was served with thick cutting bacon, butter and sour cream. The meats were very juicy, fall off the bone, delicious. I really liked the BBQ. It slightly tangy with a little kick, but not spicy. The onions rings were perfectly coded. Ordered the rib meal and the chicken meal and a side of tri-tip. The chicken was a little on the dry side. The ribs were good, nice and soft, fell off the bone. The tri-tip was more like pastrami really thin and overcooked. Fries were good, once you added the creole seasoning that's on the table. Most tangy macaroni salad I've ever had. Potato salad, Beans and the cornbread were good. Self serve soda machines.

Maybe it was just a bad batch of ribs but they were not as soft to the bite and more fatty than usual. Fortunately the bbq sauce helps a lot and I love the bbq sauce. The veggies could use some seasoning and were flavorless. I did enjoy the sweet beans. I did notice prices have gone up, maybe due to inflation but overall, I would go again.

Wow, meatiest beef rib ever. I had a quarter chicken dinner and added a beef rib. French fries, and onion rings. So delicious. My wife had baby back ribs.
