Etang offers Sichuan style food. Having been here a few times I can say the food is tasty and consistent. Lots of spice and flavor in the hot and sour soup. Dim Sum varies as to me some items are better than others. The service is top notch. I highly recommend. Try different dishes and share if dining with friends. Overall I give it a 4.8 but rating option only allows a 4 or 5.

Everything about this place is the true definition of “local treasure”. The service was amazing. You can tell they truly care about quality and that you enjoy your meal. I had the Cumin Lamb and Shrimp and Broccoli. The shrimp and broccoli was great. The cumin lamb was out of this world. I also had the Chinese herbal tea to wash it all down. Definitely visit here while in Savannah for an amazing Chinese food experience. Whether you want something small from their dim sum menu or full orders like I had. Everyone in your party will find something to enjoy.

We are in Savannah for a quick 5 day extra long weekend from NYC. After partaking in Dim Sum for the past 25 years in San Francisco and living in NYC for the past 4 years I was skeptical about the quality of Dim Sum in Savannah. My husband and I were walking by yesterday and saw this place and a woman coming out as we were looking at the menu and started raving about this restaurant. We made it a priority to come back the next day. It exceeded our expectations for high quality dim sum (as this is our weekly ritual)! Such a hidden gem!!!! The pork chashu buns, sesame chicken, and pan fried pork dumplings were all incredible. And the server was so sweet. Plus prices were SO reasonable for the amount of food and the area. We will be back any time we are in Sav.
