This morning, I had plans to try a new spot, but they didn’t open until 9… so in came the Savannah Coffee Roasters for the win. Short wait? Good. Friendly, welcoming staff? Even better. The food? The best. I went with the Eggolethorpe sandwich and a strawberry cheesecake cookie. That sandwich? The jam tied everything together perfectly. And the cookie—soft, moist, and absolutely worth it. Hands down the best coffee shop we visited in Savannah. We had stopped up one up the street that had a line wrapped around it and no parking to be found. We happened to Google coffee nearby and it led us straight here. No wait AND a proper parking lot. On top of that, the coffee was delicious, staff went above and beyond and the decor was a total vibe. The front seating area resembled a lavish reading room and the back area felt like a proper cafe shop in Havana. Skip all the other coffee shops and check out the true roasters.

Wonderful atmosphere with plenty of seating both downstairs and upstairs. The service was quick and attentive, and the coffee was excellent. The breakfast bowl was very flavorful, though it arrived cold, which was disappointing. Overall, I’d definitely come back—especially to try the pastries. I was eyeing the strawberry danishes in the display case.

So happy we visited! We had heard great reviews and wanted to stop in while we visiting the city. Beverages: Their coffee was excellent. We ordered one Shot in the Dark and one hot chai latte. Both were great. Food: We ordered the pavlova (so soooo good), a chicken biscuit (meh) and a breakfast bowl (yummy and very filling).
