We had a wonderful three-night stay in this boutique hotel. The room was spacious with nice high ceilings. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The coffee shop downstairs has excellent coffee and a nice selection of baked goods. The hotel is in the historic district--the oldest in NY State we were told--and walking the streets while reading the historic markers on many homes is great. It felt good to know that by staying there you help maintain and improve such a beautiful and historic property. Ample off street parking.

The room was large, beautiful, and full of light from the four large windows; the room and attached bathroom were both spotless. The owner and staff were all super friendly. I took part in an excellent yoga class in the studio on the second floor, which was also beautiful and light-filled from large windows. Graham’s coffee shop on the ground floor served an excellent cappuccino in a real cup and had lots of tasty-looking pastry options, including some vegan and gluten free. It was my birthday and the owner gave me much-appreciated perks to make my stay even more special. I definitely recommen

Stayed for the weekend and had a great experience. Zahar was excellent as well as the concierge. The building itself and the location is beautiful. The cafe that’s inside was also delicious. Would definitely recommend staying at the Stockade Inn!
