At Cornish Pasty Co. you don’t order a pasty for glamour. You order it because you’re hungry and you want something real. The Oggie shows up golden and sturdy, crust blistered and unapologetic. Inside, steak, potato, onion, rutabaga. No tricks. Just honest, working-class comfort. The red wine gravy isn’t there to rescue it, just to deepen the mood. It’s simple. It’s solid. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

The best restaurant of our Scottsdale visit! The Vegan Oggie pasty (perfect for two people), cole slaw, and sticky toffee pudding were to-die-for, and Haley’s (sp?) warmth and kindness made the experience even better. Plus, a diverse and large array of vegan and vegetarian dishes (including half the pasties on the menu!). We’re strongly considering returning to try more pasties despite having limited time in Scottsdale because the food, ambience, and service were really that good!

This place is always good. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good homemade Pasty. Everything was very tasty. The peppered steak and the Reuben were our favorite ones. Also, their banana desserts is a must get. One thing to note is they do sell out of some of the pasty/dishes since they are made from scratch. Overall, this is a great place to stop and a nice atmosphere.
