Two orders of chorizo tacos with a side of salsa and chips. The salsa is more akin to a pico, and it's delicious, bright and fresh. The tacos were outstanding, and the homemade hot sauce was so good I'm kicking myself for not asking to see if they sold small portions so I could use it at home the next time I make tacos. Add to that sone incredibly reasonable prices, and Chicano's is an absolute no-brainer if you crave Mexican food and you're in the area.

Late-lunch made right!!! We were heading northeast. On the way, took a pit stop at this great local authentic Mexican restaurant in Scranton, PA. It was just amazingly delicious food that we had here! My husband enjoyed his vegetarian burrito and I enjoyed the #20 on the menu - scrambled eggs, rice, and beans. Their sauces were very different from other Mexican restaurants and were out of the world. Service was great! Staff very friendly and restrooms very clean. Would highly recommend!!

I was nearby visiting my wife in the hospital, and I remember seeing some young man wearing a Chicanos t-shirt near my house which is about 1.5 hours away. So I decided to go by and get a couple of items to go and eat them when I got home. By the time I got home it was really late, but I decided to taste everything anyway and it was absolutely fantastic! Much better tasting than I was expecting and they were very generous with everything and their portions. I got the pork posole, which came with a couple of bean tostadas! To my excitement and surprise! And the Posole? Was both chicken and pork

my favorite restaurant ever. I live in san diego now and its still the best mexican spot ive eaten at which speaks volumes because thats kind of san diegos whole shtick. chicken burrito is my go to but be mindful if you get the jalapeños bc theres a chance they're extremely mild or the hottest thing you've ever consumed its a gamble
