Visited ILILI Bistro near Pike Place Market for dinner and had a mixed experience. Ambience: The place has a dim, intimate vibe, but lighting was a real issue where we were seated (right next to a room divider). It was too dark — we had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu, while other tables had proper lighting. This needs fixing. Food: I ordered a creamy gnocchi-style pasta — rich, flavorful, and well-made, but very heavy. Couldn’t finish even a small portion. A very unique spot at the foot of Pike Place Market. With its burlesque-inspired theme, the place is dark, moody, and absolutely oozing ambience. Service was a little slow throughout the experience, but it was quite busy, so some leniency was definitely fair. The Caesar salad was incredible—fulfilling every expectation and then some. Best steak I had in over 6 months, the wine sauce went perfectly. This was the second or third time coming here when visiting Seattle, I’d highly recommend it if you like a candle lit dinner near Pike.
