I ordered the shrimp basket and my wife had the cod basket. They both came out pretty quickly and was EXTREMELY HOT which I love!!! The flavor was good on the seafood for both and same for the fries. HOWEVER, if you notice my last picture, it's a pile of greasy napkins. There was A LOT of grease in the shrimp and fish. I used the napkins to soak up the excess grease. So, I gave them a 3 Star rating, but it's really more like 3.25 to 3.5 stars for the quick service and how hot it was.

Located right next to the Chihuly Garden, Matt’s Fish Basket is situated inside a spacious food court. I decided to give it a try after reading some reviews. I ordered the Sampler and the Oyster basket. Overall, the seafood was fairly fresh, though the oysters in the basket were a bit over-fried. Considering the portion size, I found it to be a bit too pricey for what you get.

My daughter and I were there Jan. 3 around 1pm. We ordered the Alaskan wild fish and chips with mango habanero sauce and the shrimp basket with ol’bay aioli. We didn’t wait for our food long and there were plenty of tables. The food was absolutely superb and the portions were literally perfect! 🧑‍🍳 💋 We left the armory extremely satisfied and still thinking about our meal! I was excited to discover Matt's Fish Basket and even more excited to learn that their batter is made with club soda instead of beer. The fish was incredibly crispy, light, and flavorful. Since my family chooses to eat halal, it's often difficult to find fried fish that isn't made with beer batter, so this was a wonderful surprise.
