I was staying at a hotel a block away with my family and we decided to have dinner at this pub. We were a party of 10 and the server did a great job setting us up with a large table. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. It was very good probably because the sauce was terrific. Others ordered the cheese burger, falafel sandwich and fish and chips. Every thing was excellent except for the onion rings someone ordered. They were a bit soggy. Aside from this, the food was very good as well as the service. Visited on 5/23/23: After a fascinating exploration of the "beneath the street" tour of basements, we were quite hungry and decided to stop by this place for a burger, but I ended up ordering a pork chop instead. The restaurant had a relaxed pace, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. The waitress was friendly and had a positive demeanor. Our food arrived fairly quickly, although it may have been due to the lack of customers during our visit. Local pub vibes. Not too loud or dark, good enough to have a decent conversation. Our waitress was very kind. One thing was the beer list was only written on a blackboard outside, so it was hard to see from inside.
