This was one of my first meals on my recent trip to San Antonio, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Easily some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. We got there around 9 a.m. and there was already a line, but once they opened at 11 things moved pretty quickly. Before long we were sitting in front of an absolute mountain of barbecue. If there was a way to give this place 6 stars, I would give them. Been there on two separate occasions for the Sunday brunch and it’s a showstopper. There isn’t any thing on this menu that isn’t sublime. If you’re willing to wait in line, bring some chairs, and make some friends, Sunday brunch is 1000 percent worth it. My buddy from the RGV said that the Barbacoa is the best he’s had. The huevos rancheros, chili Colorado, Korean ribs, lamb ribs…everything is absolutely insanely delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and the owner makes the rounds to check on every table.

Very happy we made the drive out! Turkey might be the best I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed the ribs as well (I liked it all but those two were my fav). The Mac and cheese was good but I prefer a thicker style, still yum! Corn pudding also hit.

Delicious food, wonderful service and awesome atmosphere. We decided to finally give it a try to see what the hype was all about. We are so glad we did. The pork chop was superb! Absolutely fantastic. The brisket melts in your mouth. The sausage changes lives, and basically, we need to go back to try more. We went Sunday morning-the only day they serve breakfast. Sunday mornings don't always have all of the side available. We need to try that corn pudding and the barbacoa. If you're thinking about it, go ahead and try it. It's worth the experience.
