A friend and I chose David’s to celebrate my birthday yesterday. Best choice I could have made. Our server, Janai made the experience that much more wonderful. Janai was personable, professional and offered great suggestions so we would get maximum enjoyment while dining. We came in on a whim to try the crab cakes and local seafood. Nicolas waited on us and was really kind. I gave it 4 stars only because it took a while for someone to greet and serve us but I also know they had a huge party of 40 people before us so that probably took some energy out of the staff. The first time we ordered the burger and the salmon. The burger was charred black like a hockey puck, and the salmon was as dry as the desert. The second time we came back only because of the snow crab legs on Sunday, which my mother-in-law really wanted us to try. Sadly, this was a letdown as well. The legs must have come from the snow because they arrived at the table ice cold and completely lacked any seasoning.
