This was my first time eating at this restaurant. We stopped in 15 minutes before they closed and the lady who helped us was pleasant and very friendly. I actually ordered her employee picked sandwich and I enjoyed it a lot especially the mushrooms. Such a nice atmosphere in a building with great character. I will differently be back, and not 15 minutes before they close so I can actually enjoy the ambiance. Grateful to have found the place.

I recently stopped in to grab lunch for my wife and me at Arrosto deli in Sheboygan that advertises itself as offering a true New York–style Italian deli experience. As a fellow Culinary Institute of America graduate, I walked in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of that claim. Right off the bat, the bread selection was underwhelming—just focaccia or ciabatta.
