⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We decided to try Blind Tiger based on the many positive reviews, and it absolutely did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, the restaurant gives off a nostalgic, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. We were seated upstairs, which was perfect. If you’re looking for a little more privacy or have a larger group, I highly recommend requesting an upstairs table. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waitress, Lane, was outstanding. Gumbo is perfection. Thick and spicy. What a beautiful roux they’ve made. Crab cakes with dirty rice are good and the sauce gives it a nice kick. Warm cornbread gave it the Deep South touch. Feels like this place has been there for a hundred years. Lived in and comfortable. Bar has all the necessary liquor and a small but good beer selection. Paid parking with the app and a parking garage across the street.

Flying out of Shreveport Airport in the morning and was recommended The Blind Tiger for dinner. Wonderful recommendation. We sat at the bar and Taylor took great care of us. We started with the deep fried mushrooms and they come with 2 dipping sauces. As we were still needing to eat dinner we didn’t finish the healthy portion provided. Dinner was an amazing plate of red beans and rice with a huge piece of corn bread and the Voodoo Chicken sandwich with a side of red beans and rice. The chicken had a small kick to it and was very tasty. Way too much food at good prices.
