Corbyn in Skokie★★★★★I’m happy to say the empanadas are, indeed, worth the hype. I ate some spinach-and-feta bit of brilliance and an apple pie thingie and DAYUM. My (grown) daughter got the chicken pot pie one, and it hit all marks minus a few points off perfection due to a crust/filling ratio issue. Staff was fine but not much need for involvement meant I was hardly able to make any assessment. Place was empty and when I got there no welcome or anything, cashier seems more busy talking with his colleague than to us. When the order was ready, one of the employee called me by my name and the other one started laughing, didn't know why cause I have a very common name. Everything was amazing, great flavor and served hot. Loved the vibe, had various seating options and very clean. Prices seemed appropriate for quality of food items. The barista was very attentive and polite. If you’re driving through or live in this area and haven’t tried it yet, you need to stop here!
