That's one thing I do love about Skokie is that there's plenty of surprises out there and oodles of restaurants to choose from. Stopped in here this past late April after wandering around Old Orchard Mall and was a pleasant first experience. This also marked the first time in general at any TBK location as well as dining in on an "island" in the Chicago area. The Mexican fare is really good and upon walking in, the staff here is very welcoming & friendly. We got the large elote and horchata which took at most around 10 mins to make. The horchata is cold and cinnamony. But the star of the show and the reason for this review… the ELOTEEEEEEE LOOK at how much toppings they put. It’s like a soup of elote which is exactly how it should be. Slurping it and all🤪 I will say it’s hardly spicy so ask for additional spice if you’d like that.But it was hot and buttery and cheesy and mayo-y

The woman who takes the orders is very welcoming, food is decent. However, make sure you check your order before leaving. I asked for nachos with, beef avocado, and rice. I got this!
