2.5 stars because I have mixed feelings about this establishment. Food is decent, not great. For a fine-dining desert like Slidell, this is one the better options. Serving is just OK, like in any other mid-level restaurant. They are trained to recommend the most expensive item on the menu, exaggerating everything about it. However, the setting and ambience is lackluster, it really takes away from the rest of the experience. And there is obviously zero dress code, not even a suggestion. People walk in here like if it was a fast food place.

First time going,it definitely won't be the last. Crabcake with corn macque choux appetizer,spinach with oyster salad,and the Wednesday special, surf and turf. It was all delicious, server was attentive even though it was really busy. The area we sat was a little loud, it was kind of like a summer room,with a lot of hard,reflective surfaces. They did have acoustic foam panels on the ceiling which did help some. Get a reservation ahead of time,maybe a few days,as it is almost always full.
