We were in town from Philly and gave this restaurant a try. The menu is crazy.. so much to chose from The staff was polite and service was quick. The shrimp tacos were flavorful and the crab balls were all lump crab meat fried to golden perfection. Oh and the dessert case has so many choices.. I had the carrot cake which was moist and not too sweet. I'd recommend this spot hands down for the ultimate comfort food experience.

I love this place and the best in the entire DMV. It’s clean, tidy, the staff is attentive and work hard to make sure that customer service is top tier. The one in Oxon hill has a funny smell and the greens were from the can and inedible. Alonzo, The manager on duty was respectful and helpful when I had an issue with a previous order and quickly made it right. I order the blackened fish and grits every time because it reminds me of my childhood in the south with my grandmother as well as the other soul food options. I also had the raw oysters last week and they were so fresh and delicious.
