New Oriental is one of those Springfield dive spots that doesn’t try to impress you, it just quietly serves some of the most satisfying, savory Chinese dishes in town. Their Hunan beef is the perfect example. The beef comes out tender and coated in that deep, flavorful sauce that makes you keep going back for another bite without thinking about it. guy who works the front is very friendly. i will say you won't find a Chinese place that puts as much meat in every dish. fried rice cooked correctly too. they give you so much meat that i usually buy a side of rice and add some meat from main dish for a snack later. i get the beef fried rice and the beef is good and plenty. it could be a tad bit more tender, but its definitely not tough and easy to chew. they use huge chunks of chicken. they totally got the meats. no bathroom inside, smaller dining area ( usually not full) its slightly warm inside when its hot day. if you turn on road next to

A lovely, quiet atmosphere with super friendly and responsive wait staff. Food is always delicious and hot when we recieve it. I cannot stress this enough, the MOST delicious rangoon in Springfield. Their honey chicken is unmatched. Easily the best chinese place in the whole city. Serving sizes are HEFTY we always end up eating our leftovers for dinner or lunch the next day.
