Food is excellent. Get.líobster bisque and the Cesar. It's not too vinegary like one review. It's excellent. The entire experice.is excellent. There are bad reviews. These people are used to modern chain steak houses. This is old school. Like.it was in 1950. You dress up. It's leisurely. There.is no menu because this is how they have always done it. Ask for the frank Sinatra or Henry Fonda table. Everything is first class. Experience how things used to be

I went to Al's for the experience of the service and to hear it's One Hundred and One Year old history. Total let down. The worst service that I experienced in my life. I ordered a Ceasar Salad for Two that was prepared at our table. After our server prepared I explained that the salad had to much vinegar as I couldn't get the salad down without gagging. The Manager Gary would come out and explain how they have been making salad this was for over 100 years. He began to chastise me as if how dare you little person question our precise preparation. EXCEPTIONAL! If you are expecting a modern, quick dinner, do not come. This is by far the most historical fine dining restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible. Al’s is a historic gem that we need to appreciate in our community. The stories our waiter, Gary shared, hearing the history of the business and the people it’s been passed down through was just incredible. You don’t find these places anymore and we highly highly recommend if you are looking for a very special, well thought-out dinner.

I took my wife and a couple of friends here. We had an amazing dining experience and a really cool atmosphere. With the streets it's a little confusing to get to. You can park in front of the door or in the parking lot in back. Worth the trip.
