Stopped here while in town for a conference. The burgers were good as well as the dog. The truffle fries weren’t “truffle-y”, but they were still enjoyable with the shredded Parmesan and balsamic glaze. The fountain root beer in chilled mugs was excellent. The staff was awesome, greeted us immediately. They followed up to answer questions and took our order, all super friendly and helpful! The space is clean and has a good energy. Food was good, you can tell its fresh ingredients and good quality. The burgers were good, buns were incredible and some additional seasoning will take it next level. Wanted to love The Big Garlic in Fond du Lac. Truly did. I’ll always pull for a local place trying to build something. The burger had real promise — big garlic flavor, quality ingredients, and the kind of base that could become a signature item in town. If cooked properly, it could be excellent. I've been to this restaurant a few times and it is overall pretty good. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is friendly but loud. The food is okay. Every time I have gone has been because of the experience, not the food. Everything is VERY garlicky, (pretty on brand) as well as heavy and greasy. I like the fries better than the chips as the chips are sometimes over cooked. Their spicy garlic mayo is good, but again, super garlicky. This would not normally be a problem, but when there is garlic seasoning on the fries and garlic butter on the buns, it becomes a bit too much. I wish there
