Carney's (Studio City OR Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood) one of my favorite places for a good hot dog, hamburger and fries!!! Food is always fresh, freshly made for you when you order (nothing sitting around in warming trays or under a heat lamp)! Kids and families love the genuine railroad cars and train theme -- it's a fun place to visit when you're craving a good cheeseburger or hot dog. It's a diner inside an old train car, conveniently located on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. This place is one of the two Carney's restaurants (another one is on Sunset Blvd). It was not crowded in the middle of the day on Friday. Patrons make orders at the window and then wait to be called to pick up their food when it's ready. It's a very simple setup. The forks and other utensils are plastic, picked up by the order window. Napkins dispensers are on the wall. Carney's is a great diner. The experience of eating in an old Railroad car is wonderful and that ambience is matched by the amazing food. Everything is cooked to order and all the employees are wonderful. I tried a Carney's Dog with Chili Cheese fries and my friend had a cheeseburger. All of them were delicious and you recieve generous toppings on everything. To the point that next time I think I'll just get regular fries cause there was enough chili on the hot dog for both it and to top the fries. Not that I'm complaining.
