Oxbow is such a lovely place to visit for happy hour or an exceptional meal. There’s really no restaurant in Sumner that compares. The staff are always pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The food choices are excellent! It’s a lovely spot along the river too with indoor and outdoor seating, and beautiful decorated inside with a focus on nature. Had a fairly good experience at Oxbow. We tried the steak & eggs, crab & steak Benedict, half dozen oysters and the chilaquiles (think fancy nachos). Along with potatoes with crème fraise & caviar. Yummy! Everything was tasty and well made. A solid option if you're in the area.

I brought my friend for dinner. We started with a dozen oysters. They were really good except for multiple shell fragments. He ordered the scallops and they were perfect. I had the halibut, it was overcooked. Lots of flies around the table, a few got inside my beer. We took the "basque" cheesecake to go and honestly it was very disappointing. Not sure if I want to go back, especially after spending $250.

Oxbow Urban Kitchen is absolutely amazing. I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted, followed by a delicious caramel sundae for dessert. The service was outstanding—our server, Abby F., was phenomenal and even made me a delicious pumpkin spritzer. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Overall, the vibe was great, and I honestly don’t understand the low reviews—this place exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
