This place is internationally know for a good reason. The food is phenomenal and so is the atmosphere. This is definitely the best BBQ north of South Carolina. It's so surprising to find food like this that is the good outside of the South. 10 out of 10 I recommend it.

Amazing food! We had brisket, Dino pouting, BBQ beans. Absolutely 💯 all of ut was spot on. The Brisket was tender and moist beautiful bark and smokey! I like my meat smokey. I don't want to guess if it is smoked. Certainly not acrid at all. Wonderfully smoked. The Dino Poutine is covered with pulled pork which is also tender and smokey. The baked beans were awesome. The fantastic finish was the peanut butter pie. Absolutely one of the best I have ever had. I am a fat guy that loves peanut butter everything! Itwas $7! what an awesome value. The atmosphere is cool and the smokey goodness hits

As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, I was leaving the Fingerlakes region enroute to Ottawa and stopped here for lunch. Great BBQ I got the $21 sampler where I got to tried some moist flavoursome brisket, pulled pork and delicious ribs. The Mac and Cheese was awesome and the beans were also good.

This is an all time great restaurant. I have been going there when I am in town for decades, and I am yet to be disappointed. You have to be prepared to wait, but that wait is worth every minute. I have been to a couple their other restaurants, but the mother ship is by far the best. The place still looks just like it did 40+ years ago. Soaking blues, irreverence and roadhouse style. The crowd (and yes there is always a crowd) is eclectic. You will run into people from every wall of life. Age, race, social economic status, style, etc. It doesn't matter.
