4 stars for Thai Pepper Came here hungry and left happy. The food had a lot of flavor and definitely hit that comfort-food spot. The larb was fresh, herby, and packed with flavor, the pad thai was solid with good texture, and the soups had a really rich broth with a nice level of spice. The beef dish was probably my favorite — savory, smoky, and paired really well with the veggies. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few dishes felt slightly inconsistent, and some portions for the price could’ve been a little bigger. The smell coming from the restaurant before you even get in the door is 5 stars. Friendly staff, $6 beers, delicious food what is there not to love. Went on Friday for dinner and was seated pretty quick even though it was packed. Ordered the “basics” since it was first time in.. curry, rolls, som tum, pad Thai - all absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back!!

This is the first time I bought it on uber, and it is my favorite now. I bought the best Hot Spicy Duck Curry while in Tacoma, and it was so delicious. It tastes like umami. Deliciouuus and I will subscribe to buy this 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. It really spoils the tongue, the taste is very savory, sweet, spicy and a lot of soft duck meat filling, not fishy at all. The food was fine…but waited over a hour to receive it. I am not one to speak up but I asked for our check as we still hadn’t received our food an our parking was going to expire and then a couple minutes later, they brought it. I don’t even mind if food takes a bit…but no one came to check on us during the extra long wait, We were only 1 of maybe 4 or 5 tables filled. With so many Thai options in the area, I wouldn’t go to this one again.
