I have been going to the Mayfair for over 40 years and I still love it. The menu may be smaller since Covid, and the hours less...but the New food items are great , the service is top notch , and the background music of different eras adds to the atmosphere. For us, this is the “Year of the Diner” and the Mayfair did not disappoint. It is a large diner with the usual diner fare. Our waitress was great! Friendly and accommodating to our requests. The food was good, served quickly. The shredded potatoes with crunchy edges were a surprise. The diner is accessible, with wide isles, plenty of open tables and roomy booths. First time here. My breakfast was amazing. Everything cooked just right. My waitress was very friendly and she put utensils, salt, pepper, and greap jelly in the bag for the to go order for my love.
