My boyfriend and I are Miami natives. I am of Cuban descent; my mom was born in Cuba as was everyone in my family but me. So when I say that this is some of the best Cuban food in the area I mean it. I felt like I was eating my abuela's cooking. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. Nothing was greasy and everything was crispy. We ordered the papa rellena, croquetas, Cuban sandwich, yuca frita, vaca frita, moros and maduros. Everything was so excellent. It felt like the food back in Miami. It was so good. The service isn't anything to write home about and neither is the ambiance but

Yessss!! The deviled crab plus roasted pork bites are EVERYTHINGGGG! Also had a media noche sandwich that did not disappoint. Awesome service and cute, clean spot. We love hidden games like Arco Iris 🌈

Service is great. The waitress was very attentive. Prices were affordable but the food is just okay. Skip the Cuban sandwich, it's the least good among all the Cuban sandwiches I tried in Florida. The empanada is also not good. The steak with fries is okay, not really something I would crave. For the prices, it's worth the visit. Especially if you just want a fast and casual dining experience.

I have eaten at ARCO iRIS for years, but it blows my mind that they let this slip. I picked up takeout on 3/21/2026 at 5:50 PM, and despite my explicit allergy to shellfish, shrimp was included in my meal with no warning. Luckily, I had my epi-pen readily available, because this could have been life-threatening. I do recommend this place, but anyone with allergies should be extremely cautious and double-check how their food is prepared. Restaurants have a responsibility to ensure customer safety, especially regarding common allergens. This level of negligence was very concerning.
