Our order was ready on time, filled correctly and it was hot and ready to go when we came. To top it off the food was really good and very fairly priced. I stopped into Chickies in Teaneck for the first time in years and ordered my old favorite, the Cap’n Munch sandwich. I was honestly a little curious if it would still live up to how I remembered it—but it absolutely did. The sandwich came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The crispy chicken, that signature coating, and the sauce all came together exactly the way I remembered from before. Nothing felt “off” or changed in a bad way—it was just straight-up delicious. Yummy fast food for the kids. It’s self serve after ordering if you want more of anything, and the restaurant itself doesn’t even have a bathroom, so I had to go next door and buy some wine when nature called, but to be able to get kosher fried chicken is very nice. Didn’t try the gluten free menu for myself but very nice that they have the option.
