This is one of our new favorite place in town. The restaurant is cozy and homey, maybe a little bit tight is it's busy but the service and food is exceptional. The other week the power went out in the whole block, the grocery store (food4less) stopped. They put our shopping cart in the cooler. We had to wait an hour for the power to come back, but they served still at the restaurant and made what they could with no power. We will be back for more awesome Thai. Amazing service, vibrant atmosphere, and authentic flavor!! The food here is the best tasting Thai food I’ve had in years! I came to the area from Big Bear for my husband’s Christmas present and eating here alone would’ve been worth it. They were super nice and accommodating to our dietary needs. Mae Sai, thanks you for your delicious food and great hospitality. I love the unique cups, all the cups are different which I find quaint and adds to the colorful design of the place. The ceiling umbrellas are so beautiful in person. The food is made with all authentic ingredients and made in the kitchen. The chicken was tender and juicy. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The tables outside looked like bowls which I thought were very cool. Staff is very friendly, attentive and answered any questions we had in regard to the food. Overall we enjoyed our experience and plan on coming again

I had a very disappointing experience at Mae Sai Thai Food. The Tom Yum soup was extremely sweet and tasted like it was made with a pre-made sauce rather than fresh ingredients. I informed the staff that the dish was overly sweet and not authentic in flavor, but they did not take my feedback seriously. Even though I did not eat the dish, I was not offered a refund. Instead, they insisted on remaking it, and the second version was exactly the same—overly sweet with a strong artificial, chemical-like taste. I ultimately took the food home.
