Very nice Italian restaurant and bar! Smoked Old Fashioned (with Ancho chili liqueur) was EXCELLENT! Pappardelle pasta dish and Salmon dish were both perfectly prepared. Affogato desert coffee was great. Loved the antique espresso machine! Very nice atmosphere, good service in a beautiful old building. Perfect date night place. Highly recommend!

I love bar bosco. I travel to Terre haute 3-4 times per year for work, and make it a point to have a meal here every time I come. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top notch, and the food and drinks are all amazing. I had a great meal and fantastic drinks this evening, however. I did have to wait almost an hour from the time I ordered to receive my meal. I shared my displeasure with the amount of time I waited tonight with the manager, and he comped my entire $80 bill. I was floored by this, did not expect it at all, and that act of kindness has made me a customer for life! I

Before a significant family event — my parents' 60th wedding anniversary — we booked a party of eight at Bar Bosco online, noting the occasion and that family was traveling in from four different states to celebrate. On the appointed evening, before we could even tell the hostess we had a reservation, she informed us that minors were not allowed and we'd have to leave — despite the fact that my parents' 13-year-old grandson was with us. Staff was polite and welcoming, and I appreciated that they introduced themselves and were professional. That said, my food took about 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is far too long, and I was charged around $40 for chicken piccata. For that price and wait time, the overall value just was not there. I’m not criticizing the staff personally, but the kitchen timing and overall execution need work
