My family and I have been dining at this establishement for at least 25 years, mostly birthdays on the tepan side of the place, for the first time we got there too early, I called beforehand to confirm it was open, they said It was but didn't mention the teppan side opens at 5:00pm. anyway we all ordered the filet mignon with shrimp and of all the places Ive ever been this was by far the worst, its always been great on the teppan side but it fell short on the opened restaurant side, everything was over cooked, rubbery shrimp, the medium rare stake was well done, the vegetables small and over

We went as a group of 6 for my birthday celebration. It was my first time to visit there. Nice Japanese warriors as decor. The chef definitely amazed me with his skills to slice and dice and to manipulate the fire. Food was very tasty! As a birthday special, two servers sang the birthday song to me in both English and Japanese, and I got two flavored ice cream which I had to share with my kids. The servers were very helpful in explaining the menu to us and recommending the food. Went here during the day for lunch to celebrate. My Family and I were the only ones in there. The service was not the best. The server made is feel like we shouldn't be there. This was our first time here, and the server was not helpful at all navigating the menu. The Tapanyaki style food was great. The gentlemen that was cooking made good food and a decent little show.
