I really liked this coffee shop. I’m a photographer, and I edited my photos here for hours. I’m always looking for places where I can work for a long time, move around a bit, and actually feel like I have the space to do that, and this place was perfect for it. It’s really bright and warm, with a lot of natural light, which made it such a great environment to edit and stay focused. I loved the atmosphere overall, and the staff was really kind. I planned to go and try out Rustbelt Coffee this Saturday to kick off my weekend, and it was the perfect first-time experience. The employees were friendly and nice, and I loved the rustic aesthetic atmosphere. I ordered the Chewbacca Latte for their May 4th "Star Wars menu" this afternoon and they made my drink fast after I ordered. I'll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu! Always had great coffee and experiences but recently there seems to be some changes in the staff and major inconsistencies have followed. There’s one person who if I see working, I’ll leave before I order because they’ve never made a drink of mine correctly. Always enjoyed the staff, but after coming here to leave the review for recent experiences and learning they’re also an anti-LBGTQ establishment, it’s safe to say I’ve had my last cup of coffee from this spot. Maybe if they focused more on training new staff than who strangers sleep with, this issue would have been avoided.
