Casual spot serving excellent wood-fired Neapolitan pizza. Very nice and clean establishment. The pizza dough was flavorful, chewy, and cooked perfectly with just a touch of char. The Margherita D.O.C. had beautiful tomato flavor, excellent fresh mozzarella di Bufala and a touch of basil. The Rugula was a white pizza with a fantastic combination of mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano, prosciutto, garlic, and arugula. Both were delicious!

This was our first time. We ordered a margarita pizza, the focaccia, and a meatball panini. The pizza was hands down amazing. The sauce had a sweetness to it that wasn’t expected (in a good way) and the dough was light and airy. The meatballs came smashed up which was also a good surprise. It’s always hard to eat them when they are just big round balls on bread. The focaccia wasn’t what we expected (just a plain pizza dough with some spices) but the garlic spread was a showstopper. This is the best authentic Italian food….probably in the entire Universe. They have some special method of making the dough! The food is out of this world! The atmosphere is so inviting. The waitstaff are attentive and friendly. The owner John actually greets each customer and makes sure that they are totally satisfied. I cannot recommend this gem enough!

I saw this place listed as best pizza in Litchfield Magazine. We were in Torrington for work and stopped in twice. First time, small house salad-plenty for two, margherita and a marzano-sausage and porcini mushrooms. Second time, fresh focaccia with garlic spread, margherita and the New Yorker-sopressata, pepperoncinis, hot honey and burrata cheese. Both times were delicious, served right out of the oven, thin crisp crust with just a bit of char. Would you like to add a beer refill for a nickel? Sure-about a dozen beers on tap. Can't wait to come again and try the clam pizzas!
