My husband was craving a Blue Cheeseburger from The Rec Room, so of we went. We went early which was great for us seniors as the restaurant was really quiet, and we had the place almost to ourselves. Kelly, our server, came over right away and took our drink orders. She knows us and knew that we were here for the Monday Night Half Price Burger Night. My husband had his favorite, a blue cheeseburger cooked medium rare with French fries and ranch dressing on the side for his fries. I was not super hungry, so I had a salad. My wife and I were going to a fundraiser at The Recher, an event venue on York Rd. in Towson. We hadn't had dinner. The organizers told us that we could go nextdoor to The Rec Room, order food to go, and bring it back into The Recher. This is a review of The Rec Room. The Rec Room is a sports bar that also serves American and Mexican adjacent cuisine. My wife had steak quesadilla and sweet potato fries. I had blackened salmon soft tacos and a salad. Nice little spot before going to a venue at the Recher. We ordered a drink, some cheeseburger sliders and crabby tots. Omgoodness, so good and a huge portion. Prices are reasonable too. If you get a chance, stop by and try it!
