I’ve been seeing this pizza spot all over Instagram and finally had a chance to try it while I was in Towson for a job site survey. Overall, it was a solid experience. I ordered the Trifecta (marinara, pesto, and vodka sauce) with burrata on top, and the pizza was absolutely amazing—great texture, great flavor, and definitely lived up to the hype. TLDR: Overpriced, pizza mushy from grease and overall was mediocre. Ordered a Quattro Stagioni. About 20% of the pizza was OK. The crust on the outer aspect was good. The toppings good. Sauce decent. The rest of the pizza wasn't that great. Saw a lot of 5 star reviews so I initially had some faith, but after my family tasted the pie.... it is not a 5 star pie. This discrepancy makes sense since the general public and college students usually have a terrible palate so take those reviews with a grain of salt. Ordered pickup, so maybe the service is good. Dinner tonight at Underground Pizza in Towson. Trifecta Pizza, Cup Roni Pizza, Forage Mushrooms, Mozzarella Sticks, Peporroni Mac and Cheese Balls, Wings. 4 people couldn't polish it off. Will definitely go back. Mushrooms and Trifecta were my favorite.

I first tried Underground Pizza at their DC pop-up store last year and fell in love. I was really sad when that location closed.
