Update - 02/12/2026 I brought my mother here for lunch on a weekday afternoon. We were immediately greeted with a smiling face and lead to our table near the window on the first level. Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. We had a fantastic experience at The Upper Room & Kitchen! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. We ordered the Hangover Burger, ahi tuna salad, wings, Crazy Fries, fried pickles and peppers, burgers, and cocktails—everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. Not a single miss on the table. The location was also ideal, as it was a convenient central meeting spot for us driving up from Los Angeles and our daughter coming from the East Bay. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Met a friend for lunch. The place wasn’t very busy so we got a seat right away. The waiter was extremely friendly and accommodating. I ordered the tuna salad and he ordered the pub cheeseburger The salad was prepared and presented amazingly I was very surprised. It had a very sweet Asian style sauce to pour over the top of it. That was tasty but very, very sweet. Overall, the salad was great. My buddy said the burger was good. It looked fantastic with some waffle fries and overall, we are very satisfied. It was a great meal.
