This is a great local neighborhood restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere great comfort food. I had a bowl of the Melito's Chili which was excellent, fresh chunks of tomatoes, the green peppers added a wonderful depth and there was a sprinkling of cheese on the top. Sorry I had already stirred in the cheese before I took this picture. The coleslaw was a side and it was the best restaurant coleslaw I have ever had! I can always get a good large salad here-I love their Ceasar salad. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. This time I got a cheeseburger, which was juicy and nicely done. The server was very efficient, attentive and friendly. It's a bit noisy, but it was a busy night for them. The prices are reasonable, and the menu has a wide selection.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled after my visit today. We visited for lunch with our family, including our 5-year-old daughter who is gluten and dairy free. We tried to order a kids size hamburger- which to be fair, was not on the kids menu, but they do have other burgers. I completely understood when they said they couldn’t make a smaller burger- I’m assuming this means they are all premade? Okay, fine. But then we were surprised they also would not allow us to order a side of grilled chicken unless we purchased a full salad entrée with it. I could understand this

I went to Melito's for lunch and ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. The food was delicious, the portions were massive enough that I only ate half and took the other half home for another meal. I was delighted at the variety of their menu and the warm, yet cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely be returning!
