When I first walked in, the experiencing of eating there was off to a good start since the staff was friendly and hospitable. After ordering the food off the menu and receiving the food relatively quickly after ordering, the waiter politely explained the condiments to eat with BBQ meats. I had the three meat platter with bologna, ribs, hot links, fried okra, and tabouli. Although the food was good, the friendly staff took it a step further. If you want a good BBQ experience in Tulsa no matter the time of the day, look no further than this restaurant.

Albert G's downtown is our favorite Tulsa barbecue spot. We go at least once a month and really enjoy their wings, ribs, and (on Fridays only) catfish. They also have a great happy hour, and the servers are almost always friendly. *BUT* for literally the last 9 times we've gone, the happy hour pricing was not only left off our bill, but we've had to send it back at least twice for extra adjustments. Not sure what the problem is, but if you go for happy hour, be sure to double check your bill and be ready to argue if they don't fix it properly the first time. By the way, there's a great server

I was visiting Tulsa and wanted to taste good BBQ. The Mac and cheese and okra were the best part. The ribs tasted like liquid smoke was used and were not very fatty and a bit overdone and dry. Sliced brisket was also dry. Plus they only have chicken Wednesday and Saturdays.

I really enjoyed my meal here. Matt was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, funny, and quick. The food was excellent. Burnt ends, brisket, and ribs were all great. I'm from South Carolina, and the mustard barbeque sauce is nice! Nice beer selection, even though many of the taps were down for a changeover. I will be back the next time I'm in town!
